Installation with 3M™ PX5011F Tape is done in four simple steps:
Clean the surface with the included 3M cleaning cloth
Apply the included 3M primer to the surface
Remove the protective strip from the pre-assembled and pre-mounted adhesive tape
Glue it, done!
3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape PX5011F is made of acrylate foam and is particularly suitable for attaching additional components in the automotive industry. The special properties of the product create a high level of adhesion on difficult surfaces. PX5011F has excellent adhesion to low-energy plastics (LSE) and many automotive paints. PX5011F can reversibly relieve stress due to its unique viscoelasticity. In contrast to foam adhesive tapes (PE, PU adhesive tapes), it compensates to a high extent for differences in expansion between the bonding partners due to strong temperature variations.
